YPI Wira Tata Buana, will nominate K.H Dr. Marsudi Syuhud to be appointed as Professor of Practices at Euclid International University.

Recently, there has been a lot of writing and comments about the awarding of honorary doctoral degrees -1-, Honorary Professors -2-, and even the title of professor (professor) itself by a university to figures/figures who are well qualified to receive it. The applicable rules and regulations guided everything. While the current development of the world of higher education in the era of artificial intelligence has developed so much, it seems that many countries are left behind.

Regarding the conferment of the title of Professor in the international higher education systems (in the USA and other countries)  a Professor of Practice is well known. This professorship is a special appointment given by a University to educational figures or extraordinary individuals who can contribute knowledge, leadership and extensive experiences in relevant fields in industries and businesses, Education, politics and other social works, which not been has held a formal position in the higher education, either as a teaching staff, professor, or other functional position.

Professors of Practice typically hold a dual role within and outside the University, with time allocated to both academic and professional duties. The selection and appointment process for a figure or practitioner is under the procedures determined by each university.

Personally, as a representative of Euclid University, I think professionally that K.H Dr. Marsudi Syuhud, Deputy Chair of the Indonesian Ulema Council -4-, certainly has very reliable practical experience in the social and religious fields, as well as expertise in Islamic Finance. , and finance in a broad sense, and real movements in Islamic boarding school economics, and various research in economics/finance and so on, are educational figures. For this reason, through Yayasan Pendidikan Indonesia Wira Tata Buana -5-, we are submitting nominations for THE AWARD OF PROFESSOR OF PRACTICES to Euclid University. The University that established by a special entity issued by the United Nations, and God willing, the University senate will approve the nomination.

1. An honorary degree is an academic degree for which a university (or other degree-awarding institution) waives the usual degree requirements. The degree is often conferred as a way of honoring a distinguished person's contributions to a specific field or to society in general.
2. Honorary Professors should be of equivalent national/international standing in their field to substantive University Professors. The title is awarded to an individual who is making a significant and regular contribution to activities of the University at a level deemed equivalent to that of a Professor in an honorary capacity, when assessed against the criteria at this level, and following the consideration of external referees’ reports. Individuals must be academically qualified for the status proposed (normally including a higher degree MD/PhD ( University of Leicester,UK)
